Megan Ryley has extensive experience working across roles in the fashion industry, with a focus on the contemporary, premium and luxury markets.  She has traveled, worked and lived across Asia, Europe and North America and collaborated with many of the industry's global leaders. As a consultant, she has assisted design teams with sourcing exciting material and techniques while ensuring that the end result is production viable and deliverable. Her dedication to quality, ability to understand the concept from a highly creative perspective, and understanding of production requirements have proven invaluable.

In the luxury market she has worked with designers such as Oscar de le Renta, Carolina Herrera, The Row, Jason Wu, Jenny Packham, Versace, Erdem, and more.  Her responsibilities have ranged from concept development and collaborative design to managing all aspects of production. From directly sourcing materials to working with ateliers, such as Lesage, to complete custom orders she is experienced in developing and managing small custom orders as well as larger ready to wear orders for top tier doors.

In addition, she has lead talented teams on a cross functional basis - handling all aspects of design, including surface design and garment design.  For this reason, Megan has a very in depth knowledge of all types of printing, washing, dying and embroidery techniques – both hand and machine made- making her an extremely well rounded creative professional.

Building upon her diverse experience, she has established a manufacturing unit that produces exquisite embroidery and garments for the premium and luxury markets.  Passionate about creating a better industry, she has also pioneered an ethical manufacturing model to support emerging talent. She continues to take on various consulting roles, including design, product development and coaching clients on how to prepare for manufacturing in international markets.
